 The Mount Morris Fire Department is Donating Tanker 415 to the Birdsall Fire Department. Tanker 415 was donated to the Mount Morris Fire Department in 2006 from the Suffern Fire Department. Tanker 415 saw service in NYC during 9/11. As part of the agreement with Suffern the truck was to be donated to a needy department when the Mount Morris Department no longer had a use for it. On Sunday November 23 tanker 415 was taken out of service and on Tuesday November 25 at 2 pm members of the Birdsall Fire Department including Chief Rick VanDamme, Assistant Chiefs Brian Martin & Pat VanDamme will take possession of the Truck.
