alt MYRON OLIN BRADY age 91 of Mount Morris, NY, died suddenly Friday December 24, 2021 in Mount Morris, NY. He was born the son of Olin and Anna (Swede) Wheelock on December 16, 1930 in Rochester, NY. He was a lifelong farmer having owned and operated Myron O. Brady Farms in Mount Morris. He was also owned Brady Ford in Dansville, the Mount Morris Inn and was a Seed Dealer for DeKalb products. He was a 50 year member of the Mount Morris Fire Department. He is survived by his Children Lana B. Senkovich of Florida, Myron C. (Pat) Brady of Geneseo, Scott Brady of West Sparta and their mother Cindy, Brandon (Chelsie Weaver) Brady of Nunda and Step daughter Kimberly (James) Kennedy III of Fowlerville and their mother Linda (Hanger). 14 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great-Great grandson. His sister Mary Ann Donegan of Mount Morris. Many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter Bonnie Lea Brady in 1983, his father Olin Wheelock, mother Anna Brady and step father Charlie Brady. Friends may call Thursday Dec. 30 form 4 to 7 pm at the JOHN W. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, 37 Chapel Street, (Route 408), Mount Morris. Funeral Services will be held Friday at 11 am at the Celebrate Family Church, 74 State Route 36, Leicester, NY. Pastor Eric Scott officiating. He will be buried next to his daughter at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, York, NY. In lieu of flowers. JOSEPH M. CAPPADONIA Jr. age 89 of Mount Morris, NY, died peacefully surrounded by his family on Wednesday December 15, 2021 at his home.   He was born the son of Joseph and Frances (Andolina) Cappadonia Sr. on October 20, 1932 in Dansville, NY.   He married Linda Boyd on September 11, 1965.  Prior to his retirement in 1997 he was employed by Local #435 Laborer’s Union in Rochester for over 40 years.  He was a member St. Patrick Church, Mount Morris Fire Department for over 50 years, Hally-Allen American Legion Post #1341 in Sonyea and the Local # 435 Laborer’s Union.  He was an avid golfer and loved walking with his grandchildren around Mount Morris and loved the New York Yankee’s.  He is survived his Daughter Tonja Cappadonia Jaroszek of Mt. Morris. 2 grandchildren Zack of Mt. Morris and Jory of Nunda.  2 Brothers John and Frank Cappadonia both of Mount Morris and 2 sisters Louise Ricotta of Rochester and June Willis of Mount Morris.  Many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear and loving friends.  He was predeceased by his wife Linda in 2019 and his parents Joseph and Frances Cappadonia.   Friends may call Monday December 20 from 4 to 7 pm at the JOHN W. alt Alvin L. “Al“ Brewer age 77 of 335 Park Lane, Mt. Morris, New York, died Monday July 11, 2016 at his nieces home in Mt. Morris. He was born the son of the late Walter and Coral (Smith) Brewer on March 20, 1939. He was a life resident of Mt. Morris and had been employed at the former Craig Developmental Center in Sonyea from 1959-1966 and then later at Groveland Correctional Facility as a Carpenter, retiring in 2000 after 28 years of service. Al was a 55 year member of the Seymour Chemical Company of the Mt. Morris Fire Dept. where he had served as a Past Assist. Chief for 4 years, and the CSEA. He was an avid Bowler and Golfer and enjoyed spending time in the outdoors, hunting and fishing, but most of all he enjoyed his family and spending time with them. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his 2 sister‘s; Ester Weber and Loretta Pratt and his 2 brother‘s; Francis and Merle Brewer. He is survived by his son; Gregory (Charlene) Brewer of Mt. Morris, 3 Step Grandchildren; Ryan Polleck, Kristen Simon and Lisa Klump, 7 Step Great Grandchildren; and 1 Great Great Grandchild; many Nieces and Nephews. Friends may call Friday from 4-7 pm at the JOHN W. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, 37 Chapel Street, (Route 408), Mount Morris, where a Fireman’s Gathering will be at the conclusion of calling hours (7:00pm). Graveside services and interment will be held Privately for Family and Firemen on Saturday at the Mt. Morris Cemetery. alt LAWRENCE G. “Larry” GERACE, age 88 of 7 Prospect Street, Mount Morris, NY, died peacefully Sunday September 1, 2013 at Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Mount Morris, NY. He was born the son of Ross and Josephine (DiCarlo) Gerace on May 18, 1925 in Mount Morris, NY. He was a life long resident of Mt. Morris. He was a Veteran of the Army Air Force during World War II having fought in several battles including the Battle of the Bulge. Prior to his retirement in 1990 he was employed as an Aid at Craig Developmental Center in Sonyea for over 20 years and also retired in 1975 as an Iron Worker for Local 33 in Rochester for nearly 40 years. He was a member of St. Patrick’s Church where he served as a usher and was a member of the Active Hose Company of the Mount Morris Fire Department. He was very involved in Veterans affairs and organizations for many years. He is survived by wife Carole, Son Larry (Toni) Gerace, 5 daughters Rosalie Nasca, Vickie Blair, Joette Zangerle, Melody (Ken) Leone all of Mt. Morris and Jennifer (Rick) Gille of CT. 2 step Children Stephen (Laura) Curry and Tracy (Ed) Kenney. 16 Grandchildren and 14 Great Grandchildren. Many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Eloise and 2 sons Gary and Michael and granddaughter Gina Nasca. Friends may call Wednesday from 3 - 7 pm at the JOHN W. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, 37 Chapel Street, (Route 408), Mount Morris, where prayers will be said on Thursday at 9 am followed by a Funeral mass at St. Patrick‘s Church at 9:30 am.
