ROBERT G. “BOB” HANNA age 77 of 55 Stanley Street, Mount Morris, died Monday November 18, 2013 at Highland Hospital in Rochester, NY. He was born the son of Allyn and Alice (Williams) Hanna on August 5, 1936 in Mt. Morris, NY. He married Edith Taft on August 9, 1958. Prior to his retirement in 1991 he was employed as a Project Manager at Eastman Kodak in Rochester for over 25 years. He was a 46 year member of the Active Hose Company of the Mount Morris Fire Department having joined in 1967, Mount Morris Masonic Lodge for nearly 45 years, social member of the Hally-Allen American Legion Post in Sonyea and the United Church of Mt. Morris.
He is survived by his loving wife Edith. 2 children R. Michael (Kristie) Hanna of Leicester and Karen (James) Williams of Williamson. 5 Grandchildren Bryan, Brendan, Andrew, Meagan and Morgan. 2 brothers Jack and Bruce (Donna) Hanna. Several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son Richard in 2007 and son-in-law Patrick Fitzgerald in 2004.
Friends may call Friday from 3-6 pm at the JOHN W. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, 37 Chapel Street, (Route 408), Mount Morris. A Fireman’s and Masonic Services will be held Saturday at 11 am. Interment Mount Morris Cemetery. In lieu of flowers. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or the Mt. Morris Fire Department.
